About the Role

JAPR Inc. is hiring Solution Architects and Enterprise Architects to lead architectural design and technology strategy on enterprise IT and SAP transformation programs for our provincial government clients.

What You’ll Do

  • Design end-to-end solution architecture for SAP, ERP, and integration programs
  • Define data architecture, migration frameworks, and governance models
  • Lead architectural decision-making, technology selection, and roadmap development
  • Translate business strategy into technical architecture aligned to enterprise standards
  • Establish standards, principles, and guidelines for Master Data Management (MDM)
  • Lead data analyst teams across multiple business domains
  • Communicate complex technical concepts in business-friendly terms to senior executive management
  • Establish data migration strategies for SAP S/4HANA implementations

Mandatory Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
  • Minimum 10 years of experience working in data migration projects in technically complex enterprise environments
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a Data Architect role
  • Expert knowledge of Data Architecture techniques, data management, integration, and quality platforms
  • Expert knowledge of at least one enterprise ETL tool (SAP BODS, Informatica, Talend, etc.)
  • Minimum 5 years developing and implementing standards, principles, guidelines, strategies, and roadmaps for Master Data Management (MDM)
  • Strong ability to translate complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences
  • Ability to obtain a clean criminal record check; enhanced background check may be required

Preferred Qualifications

  • Direct experience establishing data migration strategy for SAP S/4HANA
  • Hands-on experience with SAP BODS, LTMC, LSMW, BDC, SAP CPI, IDocs
  • Exposure to TOGAF, Zachman, or equivalent EA frameworks
  • Public sector or regulated industry experience
  • Located in or willing to relocate to / travel onsite to Winnipeg, MB
